Discussion Questions

1. The time has come! Jesus will enter Jerusalem as the King of Kings!

When you read Luke 19:28-44, what stands out to you?

2. We learned today that there were two kings entering Jerusalem. Was

this a surprise to you? Why do you think Jesus chose today to enter the

east gate of Jerusalem?

3. With the Disciples and the crowds singing Jesus’ praises, do you find His

demeanor to match this celebration, or do you see something different

going on?

4. In our lifetime we will make many choices. Some good and some of our

choices not so good. We have decisions to make every single day. The

most important choice is our king. Will you choose the king who

triumphantly galloped in on his big horse, preceded and followed by a great

army representing a worldly kingdom...OR... will you choose the King that

entered that east gate on a donkey seated on particles of clothing with tear

stains on his cheeks? The King of Kings who sits at the right hand of our

Heavenly Father, waiting for you to claim Him. Who do you choose today?
