Back to the Basics: Scripture (Week 3)

Discussion Questions:

1. Today is the third week in a sermon series called “Back to the Basics.” This series is focused on what it means to follow Jesus and live out our faith. Today’s sermon is focused on scripture. Read 2 Timothy 3:14-17. What stands out to you as you read this passage? 

2. Who was someone that influenced how you view or read Scripture? What did they do, intentionally or unintentionally, that made an impact on you?

3. The Covenant question, “Where is it written?” points us back to Scripture. What do you think this question is really trying to guard against or encourage in the life of a believer?

4. How could being rooted in Scripture prepare you for meaningful or challenging conversations about faith with others?
