PHILIPPIANS 3:20-21
Now that we have seen what Jesus has done, do you know what is to come? Being citizens of Heaven, we should be eagerly awaiting our Savior-Jesus Christ- to come from Heaven and deliver us out of our human bodies and into a glorious body like His own! That is just one of the miracles awaiting us!
Can you imagine being so filled with the beauty and the glory of God that you will shine like the noonday sun as He does? It’s hard to even imagine such a transformation in ourselves! But God is at work in us, even now, to begin this transformation of making us like Him. What a priceless gift, no wonder it has been a mystery for so long. But God, in all His kindness and generosity, has chosen to reveal this mysterious treasure to the world.
Colossians 1:26-27 tell us,
…for ages and ages this message was kept secret from everyone, but now it has been explained to God’s people. God did this because He wanted you Gentiles to understand his wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, and he is your hope of sharing in God’s glory.
So we see that God has used His chosen people (The Jews) to pass on His glory to all who choose to share in it! I don’t know about you, but that’s something I don’t personally want to miss. Do you?
