As a deeply gifted teacher and leader, Chris has experience in renewing and planting churches in California. He is passionate about engaging the culture and surrounding community by equipping the Chapel to be planted in Christ, growing in relationships, and fruitful in serving others.
Chris and Holly have been married for nineteen years and enjoy spending time with their children Julia, Hailey, and Micah. In his free time, Chris is an avid runner and marathon competitor and recently completed the 2015 Boston Marathon.

When Jill began serving at Chapel in 2010, you might have noticed a special affinity for construction paper, scissors, and tacky glue. Her crafty side was harnessed through children’s outreach with Chapel’s VBS and leading the children through dynamic lessons and playful activities on Sunday mornings…a total kid at heart. Jill received her Bachelor’s Degree from Clemson University and has continued studies in Early Childhood Education fueled by her passion for working with kids.
When a need arose for help not only in the Chapel Office but also working in Children’s Ministry, Jill was brought on staff as a Ministry Assistant. As the enthusiasm for Children’s Ministry continued to grow, Jill eventually shifted her role out of the front office and into full-time Children’s Ministry and now has expanded this further to encompass a broader scope from the babies on up to Chapel’s teens as Chapel’s Family Ministry Director.
Jill continues to learn and grow in her leadership through personal studies and participation in conferences such as the Orange Conference, Catalyst and additional workshops hosted by the PSWC. When you don’t see Jill on the Chapel campus, you will likely find her out in the backcountry with her husband and three children…either backpacking, swimming, trail running, or with a pair of cross country skis on if the dirt isn’t available.
Holly has been serving the Church through the Arts for over twenty years. Her heart at Chapel is to encourage team members to use their artistic and spiritual gifts in the Church to serve our congregation and our community.
Holly has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Long Beach and is currently in process working on her M.Div from Fuller Theological Seminary. A musician with over 30 years of training, she has attended countless conferences and workshops for continuing education in her field of Worship Theology and the Arts.
When she is not serving the church, she keeps busy by homeschooling her three children and engaging in hobbies such as playing tennis on a sunny day and blog surfing on a snowy one.

Clint found his way to Chapel in 2009. Being a big kid himself, he began to volunteer with the youth group to share his love of games, backpacking, skiing, biking, kayaking, and other fun activities. Over the next six years this volunteering lead to becoming an assistant youth leader where through several conferences and workshops he began to teach and lead worship, as well as play games.
He is currently the Youth Leader, a Worship Team member, a Family Ministries Volunteer, and one half of the Custodial Staff.
Even as busy as he is, he can still be found in the woods of Calaveras and Alpine counties.
Jan has served Chapel in an administrative capacity since 2012. With a B.S. in Office Administration and many years of work experience under her belt, she manages to keep things running smoothly here in the church office and feels blessed to have this opportunity to serve others. Jan was a co-owner and office manager for a small retail sales & service business that she and her husband operated for over 20 years.
In addition to providing administrative support to the pastors, Leadership Team and other staff, Jan is the initial "go to" person for such matters as bulletin announcements, benevolence funding, facilities use, Fellowship & Service scheduling, Communion, memorial service coordination, baby dedications, and baptisms. As Jan manages the church database and directories, updates to your personal or contact information should be forwarded to her.
Jan likes to keep busy so has very little "free" time. But when she has completed her routine chores around the house, she is an avid reader, loves working in her garden, and especially enjoys cooking and trying out new gourmet recipes. Jan and her husband, Ken, like to travel and especially to spend time with their two children and six adult grandchildren. They also enjoy sharing their home with their many friends and family who come to visit them in God's country!
Sheila has been a member of Chapel since 2000, and is the newest member of the Chapel Administrative team as an Administrative Assistant, where she feels honored to be serving Christ and her church in this capacity. She has years of experience in the administrative field, but has also run a daycare out of her home and currently operates a janitorial business with her husband, as well as working on staff at Chapel as one half of the custodial staff. While homeschooling her two teenage sons keeps her quite busy, she is looking forward continuing her education and earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
When she is not homeschooling, cleaning offices or working at the Church, Sheila enjoys spending time with her family. Whether it be out in the forest hiking or camping, or just at home enjoying their company, she always makes her husband and two children her priorities.

Pastor Jefferson (PJ) came out of retirement in early '09 to serve for a year as interim minister at the Chapel and has continued part time as an Associate.
He brings to the church over forty years of leadership, the majority of that time in San Francisco as Senior Pastor of an inter generational, multi-ethnic, economically diverse, and culturally varied church community.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, he received training at Seattle Pacific University (BA Psychology) and Fuller Theological Seminary (MA Biblical Studies).
Assisting at the Chapel with preaching and small group development, Pastor Dick is driven by two questions, "Have we really become Christians yet?" and "If individuals were looking to see Jesus today, would they see Him in us?"
Dick and his wife Linda have four children and ten grand kids. For change of pace Dick reads, rakes needles, and kayaks in local lakes.
Ezekiel 34, John 10, and I Peter 5, along with O. Chambers "My Utmost for His Highest", have given vision and purpose to his personal and pastoral life on a daily basis for many years.
He delights in inviting you to be planted in Christ, to grow in relationships, and to be fruitful in serving others.
PJ retired... again... at the end of 2016 after another 8 years of faithful service.
